Voting for Presearch’s $1 Million Advertising Grant Program Has Commenced

Presearch announced an offering of a $1 million advertising grant for several cryptocurrency projects. The grant will be issued after a voting process in ten different classes amidst the crypto bear market sentiment.

Presearch, a decentralized Search Engine (SE) developed on the blockchain network, unveiled an advertisement grant worth $1 million. The announcement was made on September 30, 2022. However, the voting process began yesterday (Monday, October 17, 2022) and is expected to end on November 18, 2022. Projects that win voting will commence their advertising campaigns on December 1.

“It’s time to vote on the $1,000,000 advertising grant winners!”

Preserch tweeted.

This tweet served as a wake-up call to Presearch users to avail themselves of the democratic process of seeing their favorite blockchain projects succeed.

Awards will include $50,000 worth of Keyword Advertising. The blockchain-based search engine advertising grants program will be divided into ten categories. Each category will house one winner. Censorship-resistant currencies/privacy coins, layer one blockchains, layer two blockchains, decentralized finance projects, Metaverse/gamefi, NFTs, Web3 platforms, infrastructure, and stablecoins, are among the categories.

In addition to defining Web3 platforms, the search engine platform specifies that this class comprises social media networks such as Hive, Minds, and LBRY/Odysee. MetaMask, Flux, Rainbow, and Uniswap are some of the technologies upon which Web3 is built.

The Advertisements

The winning blockchain projects selected from the ten categories will receive $100,000 in advertising perks from the Search Engine platform. The perks will also include $50,000 in keyword advertising and $45,000 in daily sponsorship benefits. The $5,000 additional benefits will be provided through social exposure.

The ‘Site takeover’ sponsorship benefit consists of a two-day display on Presearch, including a show of the brand’s symbol above the Presearch search window. Online users’ rewards will be credited to the benefactor. According to Presearch, the endorsement spot will be available to all advertisers next year.

The Voting Regulations

Preserch also published the rules prevailing over the voting process on their official medium block.

To participate in the voting process, users first need to possess an active Presearch account. Anyone who owns 1,000 or more PRE, Presearch’s native token, will have their vote multiplied by ten. PRE tokens can be stored in your Presearch account or on-chain with an external wallet.

Secondly, anyone with more than 1,000 PRE (Presearch’s native token) will have voting power multiplied by ten.

In the medium post, the decentralized search engine platform declared that all projects found to create multiple counterfeit accounts would be disqualified from the competition. The platform further emphasized that users should remain transparent throughout the process to make voting accessible and fair.

“Any project or community caught creating multiple fake accounts to increase their number of votes may be disqualified from winning, so please, keep it legit!”

Stated Presearch on their Medium blog.

To access the 10x multiplier for every 1,000 PRE, users must connect their wallets to Preserch. This process will only apply for PRE found on-chain. Voters with PRE on their Presearch account will directly vote without linking external wallets.
