Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain Ronin Network has announced a $10 million grants program dedicated to its developer community.
The Ronin Ecosystem Grants initiative was introduced on Jan. 16 as part of the network’s strategy to expand blockchain capabilities and utilities by attracting more developers.

Grants to be shared among developers and waypoints
According to the announcement, the $10 million grants pool will be distributed among developers and waypoints, a type of crypto-based bridge service. The builder grants offer up to $300,000 in Ronin (RON) tokens, while the waypoint gas grants offer up to $20,000 funding in RON.
Approved developer teams and projects will be allotted milestone-based funding unlocks based on their alignment with predetermined long-term goals. The funding will cover essential costs like development integrations, audits and deployment. The company’s grant website states:
“We’re excited to support teams and game studios with innovative ideas to expand the capabilities and utilities of the Ronin Ecosystem.”
The grants are part of a broader strategy to promote developer collaboration and expand Ronin into a foundation for gaming, consumer DApps and DeFi protocols.
Participating projects and app devs are expected to solve user or developer pain points, onboard new users, and increase onchain activity. The comparatively smaller waypoint gas grants aim to simplify user onboarding, enhance user experience and cover gas costs for seamless blockchain interactions.
Attracting Web3 developers on Ronin blockchain
Ronin’s latest grants program has no set deadline and the review process of all applications will take up to four weeks. Additionally, approved projects will get greater online visibility through various Ronin platforms, including the Ronin Ecosystem Grants website and the Ronin Wallet.

Other perks include access to Ronin Builders Discord — enabling collaboration with teams, venture capitalists (VCs), and advisers — and integration opportunities with Web3 games and ecosystem partners.
Approved builders will also be eligible for discounts from infrastructure and tooling providers.
Projects applying for multiple grant programs must submit a separate application for each program.
