It’s time for utility coins to remind investors what crypto’s all about.

Experts are tipping a utility coin takeover in the 2025 crypto bull market.

Utility coins explode while meme coins flatline

Traders have had their fun with meme coins this year, but they’re returning to utility in 2025.

Prominent analyst cevo recently posted on X that it’s its “utility season” alongside a meme that says, “I may be early, but I’m not wrong.”

He’s essentially saying that though it may be early, the utility coin season is already in motion.

This can be seen in real-time. Filter the top 100 cryptos by 24-hour performance on CoinMarketCap, there’s no meme coin in sight.

All the way to the 13th spot is the best-performing meme coin, Pepe, which was up 5.9% at the time of writing.

Meanwhile, the top gainer was Ethereum Name Service, up by 40%.

The second-best-performing meme was Peanut the Squirrel, in 31st place. It was up 4%, but is still in the red this week.

It’s tough going for meme coins right now, and the former Binance CEO may have played a role in this.

CZ kickstarts utility season

Binance has been on a listing spree of meme coins in recent months, but former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has drawn a line, saying crypto’s meme coins were “getting a little weird.”

The tweet got over 9 million views, so it undoubtedly had an impact on the market this week as traders have begun rotating to utility coins.

CZ’s following tweet doubled down on his previous statement by underlining the value of operating AI models on the blockchain.

Analyst Miles Deutscher commented on this, saying we’re heading toward a “powerful rotation into utility.”

Looking at the top gainers, the Ethereum Name Service is leading, followed by DeFi protocol Ethena.

Lido DAO and Celestia have also surged this week, both up over 50%.

Figuring out what utility coins will pump next is not easy, but there’s one strategically positioned as an infrastructure play to over 60 blockchains.

Utility presale project BEST primed for growth

One of the best projects to capture value amid the forthcoming utility coin season is the Best Wallet token.

The project is an all-in-one super app that lets users buy, sell, track, research, and stake tokens from over 60 blockchains using one wallet.

CZ has recently focused on the BNB chain, so there could be a lot of growth. Ethereum is also doing well, while Solana continues to dominate in terms of on-chain activity.

The Best Wallet token will give exposure to all of these blockchains.

The wallet has unique features like an aggregated DEX connected to over 200 exchanges and 20 bridges to get the best price. It also has an “Upcoming Tokens” feature that will allow users to buy vetted presales without leaving the wallet.

The Best Wallet could be a breakthrough for on-chain user experience, and it gets even better for BEST holders. They will get trading fee discounts, heightened staking yields, and exclusive bonuses at partner projects.

As such, analysts are bullish. Crypto June thinks it could be the best Web3 wallet for 2025.

The project is undergoing a presale and has raised $1.4 million so far.

Investors can buy the token on the Best Wallet website or using its app via the Upcoming Tokens feature.
