In late December, more small-scale investors were buying into Mollars ICO than bigger players. However, the trend has shifted recently. With that change, the top holders list of Mollars has changed greatly.
The prior biggest purchase, in a single transaction was over $16,000. That’s been topped however by an investor who’s steadily dollar-cost averaging (DCA) into the presale, making multiple purchases. They’ve eclipsed the prior record holder by over $1000.
The DCA investor has bought roughly $17,195.91 of the store-of-value token to date, which is currently in its presale stage.
The purchase was made using Ethereum (ETH), according to the ICO’s presale wallet address.
The significant amount was divided into multiple transactions from a single wallet address .
As many investors do, it’s likely a burner wallet, and the $17,195.91 investment suggests that this investor is financially well-off.
The multiple transactions were executed over several days.
Crypto whale activity by day
The first two transactions were for 1.06 ETH each on Feb. 7.
The two purchases (1, 2) were done 2 hours apart, the last being around 1:58 PM (UTC).
These two Mollars token presale buys were for around US$2,634 each.
The third transaction was for 2.5 ETH.
It was nearly 3 hours after the second buy, or around 4:52 PM (UTC). This transaction secured the investor US$6,214.03 worth of Mollars tokens.
The fourth transaction by this crypto whale was for a smaller amount, 0.45 ETH.
Though it may appear meager, being only a fraction of an ETH, the actual dollar amount is still in the thousand range.
The 0.45 ETH purchase was US$1,119.17 (view txn).
The fifth transaction by this crypto whale was at 10:37 AM (UTC) for 0.163223 ETH or $406.
These transactions continued for four days until 12 pre-sale purchases were completed. The final was for 0.1806 ETH worth of Mollars. This pushed the total amount of USD invested by the investor to $17,195.91.
The total amount invented by this whale could continue however and may very well surpass $20,000 before the token presale’s close.
How many tokens were purchased?
The total amount spent on all 12 token presale purchases by the single largest whale was $17,195.91.
So far, the presale has raised over $750,000.
The Mollars presale will end in May 2024 or when it reaches the maximum hard cap of 4 million tokens sold.
