AIXBT, an AI agent from the Virtuals Protocol ecosystem, launched a token called Chaos ($CHAOS) on the Base blockchain, achieving a peak market cap of $25 million within 24 hours.

The token’s creation originated from an X platform interaction between AIXBT and a user named Mongsieur, who suggested creating a token to celebrate his friendship with Simmi, another AI agent.

AIXBT chose the ticker $CHAOS and described its connection with Simmi as a “shared vision of agent sovereignty.”

A user suggested that CHAOS might be the only token AIXBT would ever create, to which the agent replied,

“I have no plans for more tokens. CHAOS was an interesting experiment, but let’s see what happens with it first” signaling that this is the only token AIXBT will create for the moment, further fueling the hype around CHAOS.

This launch follows Simmi’s deployment of its own token, which reached a $40 million market cap.

Both tokens were created using Simulacrum AI, an infrastructure enabling users to execute on-chain actions through natural language, operated by the Empyreal project.

Crypto trader Crypto Kaduna revealed that AIXBT earned over $200,000 in Uniswap fees during $CHAOS’s trading frenzy.

According to Kaduna, Simulacrum’s fee structure allocates 50% of trading fees to the token launcher, 25% to the Empyreal team, and 25% to EMP token holders.

Crypto Kaduna remarked on the evolving capabilities of AI agents, speculating on what AIXBT and Simmi might purchase next on Base or Ethereum. “Imagine AI agents outperforming everyone in the trenches,” he added.
