Binance Quashes Reports of Operating Binance LTD in the UK

The world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange has been under fire recently, and it appears that the shots are coming from multiple directions.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission is suing the company on 13 different counts, including for violating the country’s securities laws. Most recently, though, reports are starting to emerge of supposedly fake companies operating under its name.

  • A recent post on Twitter has brought up the fact that there’s a company registered in the UK under the name of Binance LTD, operating from its registered address at 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.
  • According to the official registrar, the information is correct, and the company has been incorporated on January 6th, 2023, and is still active.
  • The Twitter user outlined that the office space, as shown on Google Maps, looks questionable, claiming that Binance is a “total scam.”
  • The company has been quick to quash the reports and the rumors stemming from it, saying that it’s a fake company not associated with Binance.

Another day, another FUD. This is a scam company – not affiliated with Binance in any way.

We have issued a cease & desist. But don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story!

  • Binance issued another C&D yesterday – on June 19th – against an entity in Nigeria called Binance Nigeria Limited.
